Techniques for organising your wardrobe
Having an untidy and chaotic wardrobe can be incredibly frustrating as you try to find the top or skirt that you want to wear and spend longer and longer periods of time leafing through all your clothing. There are a number of different ways that you can organise your wardrobe to help prevent this from happening and after all who wants to have creased and crumpled clothing after you have carefully spent time washing and drying them.
- Colour sorting – some people like to sort their clothing in colours, this could mean hanging them in your wardrobe space with all similar colours next to one another. This is often how people who like to wear particular colour combinations will organise their clothing.
- Type sorting – another way of organising your clothing is to have it sorted by type. This would mean having all your shirts hanging together and all your Aran Sweaters, like the ones from Shamrock Gift displayed together. It might be that you store your jumpers hanging in your wardrobe or it might be that you store them on shelving or in drawers.
- Capsule wardrobe – this is a way of organising your wardrobe to ensure that you don’t have lots of clothing items that you never wear. It means sorting through all of your items and taking away any that you don’t wear, that don’t fit or that you have multiples of.
